Mano a Mano 2025: A Capsule Collection Celebrating Venetian Craftsmanship

With its Art Deco charm, nostalgic paintings of a bygone Venice, and breathtaking views of San Giorgio Island, the Londra Palace Venice provided the perfect setting for unveiling the 2025 Capsule Collection of the 'Mano a Mano' project. The initiative, promoted by The Place of Wonders Foundation, curated by Venezia da Vivere, and crafted by our five new Wonders partners, is now available as a limited edition from May 20th. The collection can be acquired through a minimum donation, welcoming hotel guests, and anyone passionate about supporting our mission.

Five master artisans were chosen for their dedication to preserving traditional crafts through contemporary design. Highlights include Lunardelli Venezia’s Sfojo tray, Arzanart’s marbled paper Journal, Saverio Pastor’s sculptural Forcola, Giuliana Longo’s distinctive Beret, and Martina Vidal’s delicate Burano lace Brooches. The event also welcomed six young women supported by the Foundation through scholarships, who proudly presented the pieces they created during courses in Burano lace-making and Venetian glass beadwork. Their work stands as a living testament to the transmission of knowledge and the generative power of craftsmanship.

“Mano a Mano” invites us to rediscover genuine beauty through the value of craftsmanship. Designed to deepen and extend the experience of a stay in La Serenissima, the collection is a heartfelt tribute to Venice’s unique spirit: a celebration of thoughtful mastery, meticulous detail, and the passion that transforms each creation into an enduring bond with the soul of the city. This vision is brought to life by Michela Canzi Blanc, Director of The Place of Wonders Foundation, and Alain Bullo, Maître de Maison of the Londra Palace Venice, who together nurture a steadfast commitment to honoring local excellence through a seamless dialogue between hospitality and culture.
