Le Arti Orafe End-Of-Year Exhibition

Le Arti Orafe Jewellery School, one of Europe’s most prestigious institutions in the field of goldsmithing, opened the doors of its workshops to celebrate the talent, dedication, and hard work of its students with an end-of-year exhibition.

This special event transformed learned skills into creative expression, and creative expression into storytelling. Techniques such as goldsmithing, jewelry design, 3D printing, engraving, enameling, microfusion, and the delicate art of stone setting became languages through which intimate and precious stories were told.

Alongside the students’ works, the exhibition was enriched by the jewelry pieces created by the scholarship recipients of The Place of Wonders project: Irene Rosati, Alessia Barzellotti, Paola Labate, and Beatrice Campagna. Each piece stood as a quiet yet powerful testament to the Foundation’s mission: to nurture talent, preserve knowledge, and safeguard beauty as a shared cultural treasure.

During the event, a special award—sponsored by a leading company in the sector—was presented to recognize outstanding technical skill and original design by a promising young artist. The exhibition also featured jewelry created for the Casato Prime Donne award, alongside a selection of striking photographs produced through a collaboration between students of the Fondazione Studio Marangoni and LAO. These images captured the essence of craftsmanship through a thoughtful, interpretive lens.

For The Place of Wonders Foundation, participating in this event was a meaningful reaffirmation of the value of slow, deliberate, and intentional creation. It was a reminder that the future of fine craftsmanship is nurtured in the present by educating the next generation’s vision and supporting those who choose beauty as their path. Once again, being part of this collective story of art and passion meant advancing a living and tangible mission: to cultivate talent, preserve knowledge, and support those who, with both hands and heart, keep the timeless light of craftsmanship alive—here, through the art of jewelry.
